Unpopular Opinion: The change in reward and auction quantities in the upcoming global map campaign is a GOOD thing

A lot of people seem angry that the quantity of reward vehicles available in the upcoming Global Map Campaign has been lowered, and the number available for auction increased.

As an average / 1800 recent WN8 player who is unlikely to do well enough to earn a reward vehicle, I think this is a good thing. The T95/FV4201 Chieftain (and Object 279 (e) for that matter) are two of the most broken vehicles in the game. It doesn’t help that, generally speaking, these tanks are usually played by people who are skilled at the game and know what they are doing.

Wargaming are clearly not going to nerf these vehicles, so instead, they can make them available to a larger player-base. The same has happened with the Concept 1B – it’s considered an overpowered vehicle, and was only available as the primary reward for Ranked Battles. Now, all you have to do is reach Division 2 in a single Ranked season to unlock the ability to purchase it for bonds.

Now that more people have access to the vehicle, yes, we will see more in battles, but this also means the skill range will expand for the vehicle and people will learn how to play against them quicker.
