Loot Box

5,000 Gold to unlock the garage – first delivery is free. 2nd Delivery is 900,000 Credits, 3rd is 1,100,000 and 4th is 1,400,000. (5th unknown, needs reference). If you pick a tank, that’s the tank you get. You are guaranteed not to receive a tank you already own in the garage. Because of this, many veterans of the game were guaranteed the Type 59 G (which had only been available in previous Black Markets at auction, resulting in this being a BARGAIN and pissing off a lot of Type 59 G owners who had forked out tens of thousands of gold previously!)

Possible tanks:

  • IS-6 B
  • SU-76I
  • BT-SV
  • Schwarzpanzer 58
  • leKpz M 41 90 mm GF
  • Pz.Kpfw. V /IV
  • Pz.Kpfw. IV hydrostat.
  • Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J.
  • Pz.Kpfw. 38H 735 (f)
  • T34 B
  • Chrysler K GF
  • AMX 50 Foch (155)
  • Panhard EBR 75 (FL 10)
  • AMX 13 57 GF
  • 105 leFH18B2
  • FCM 36 Pak 40
  • FV215b (183)
  • Caernarvon Action X
  • Sexton I.
  • WZ-111 Alpine Tiger
  • Type 59 G
  • Lansen C

I was disappointed with the loot box. The wording surrounding the “rules” was very vague in places, so I thought you were able to chose up to five tanks, not one from five. The first offer I had was the Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J., so I thought “great! a £100 tank for £20!” and accepted the offer. I was really hoping for the BT-SV having seen a fellow clan member get yeeted across the lake in Lakeville in a clan racing event. Oh well, there’s 2022 to look forward to!

Before the announcement

The WZ-111 Qilin, T-22, K-91-PT, Kunze Panzer, Aufklärungspanzer Panther, Charlemagne and E 50 Ausf. M 3D style were found in update 1.12’s files. All of these were featured in the Black Market, except the Charlemagne, which is still unavailable, and the Kunze Panzer and K-91-PT, which are a Battle Pass reward vehicles.

Before the launch of the event, a micropatch added images in a “black market” folder, essentially confirming deals. There were more images than deals, but every single deal was also in one of the images. The Beret Panther, Cromwell B, M54 Renegade and Somua SM were in the images, but not featured as a deal. It was quickly established that a tank with silver lights behind it was a closed auction, gold lights was an open auction, and no lights was a straight sale.

From the YouTube videos posted before the event, people speculated the Panhard EBR 75 (FL 10), Pz.Kpfw. V/IV, Type 59 G, AMX 50 Foch (155), FV215b (183), IS-6B, T34 B, Schwarzpanzer 58, Chrysler K GF, leKpz M 41 90mm GF and Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J would be featured in the black market. Most of these were correct.

We were also treated to a reasonably good hoax – The Waffenträger auf E 100: (Source unknown)
